About Lights and Shadows
Lights and Shadows is a Co-op Stealth game I worked on during Junior Collaborative Development during my second year of Undergrad. The players take on the roles of two thieves who attempt to rob a museum. This was my first experience creating games as a member of a team and I learnt lots of valuable lessons from my seniors that I carried forward with me in the next year and that I hope to carry forward in industry.

Learnings from working on this project.
-
This was my first time working on a game in a group dynamic setting.
-
I took on a role as a pure level designer in this project and designed two levels for my projects.
-
I learnt about how to use Github on this project and I worked on this project solely for a period of six weeks and modified my levels various times such that they better suited the vision the team had for the game.
-
I learnt a lot more about dedicated level design and how important factors such as lighting, etc are.
-
This was also the most playtesting I had done at the time, allowing me to both use valuable feedback to modify things such as guard routes, item placements, etc, as well as experiment with weird layouts, guard jumpscares, etc.
Check out my other games!
