About Pixel Clash:Chrono Conquest

Pixel Clash:Chrono Conquest is a 1v1 strategy game, where the players must try to keep their characters in the Capture Point at the end of the round. This was a group project, worked on by me and four other classmates during a period of nine weeks.

 

This game features a chess-style board movement where the players can control 6 different pawns, with multiple different abilities and attacks each. Many of these abilities can change the tide of the game and can be used to explosive effect!

Achievements from this Project

  • For my university mark, I got a first class honors for this project (77).

  • I also took leadership of a group at the end and took over as producer at the end,and learnt a lot about what it takes to lead and delegate.

  • This was my first time working with grid based movement, so I learnt alot about making functions and abilities related to this.

  • This was my first time managing Git-hub in a group so I understood the intricacies of group collaboration and how important communication was to prevent merge errors as well as what it takes to solve them.
